Nelle Thompson

Nelle Thompson, MBA, SIOR, CCIM is a real estate instructor, commercial real estate broker, course author, and industry writer with more than 20 years of full-time brokerage experience. She has extensive expertise in commercial leasing, owner-user sales, land transactions, brokerage operations, real estate investment analysis, valuation principles, agency, ethics, and professional real estate practice.

Nelle is an author of our 77-hour New York real estate salesperson course and also teaches real estate courses in California. She has deep experience helping students understand the licensing process, course requirements, regulatory expectations, and the compliance principles that apply to becoming and working as a licensed real estate professional.

Her professional background includes thousands of commercial lease transactions, hundreds of owner-user building sales, and significant land transaction experience. She previously served as Director of Marketing for the Northwest Region at CB Richard Ellis, supporting brokerage teams across 15 offices.

She holds an MBA from the University of Tampa, a BS from Indiana University, and the SIOR and CCIM designations. Nelle is also a licensed California real estate broker and ARELLO-IDECC distance education certified.
